Psalm 115:16-18

¹⁶ Heaven belongs to the Lord,
    but he gave the earth to people.
¹⁷ Dead people do not praise the Lord;
    those ·in the grave are silent [^Lwho go down in silence].
¹⁸ But we will praise the Lord
    now and forever.
